Lifetime Warranty

Subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions set forth herein, SignOptix warrants your sign cabinet and support structure (models that include factory provided support structures only) against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product under normal use and service. SignOptix aluminum cabinet extrusions are additionally guaranteed against rust for the life of the product. SignOptix guarantees that our powder-coated cabinet and support structure will significantly outlast any similar painted sign. Breakage of the high-impact acrylic faces due to vandalism (except gunshots) is also covered for the life of the sign. Electrical components, including wiring and ballasts, are included and warranted for the life of the sign.

This Lifetime Warranty does not extend to lamps. LED electronic display products are warranted for a period of three (3) years from the date of shipment. Labor is factory exchange and/or replacement. It is expressly stated that warranty labor does not consist of on-site service. Removing and reinstalling of defective parts is the responsibility of the owner. SignOptix reserves the right to visit the site of installation or to require documentation of the claim before assuming any responsibility under the provisions of this warranty. Service to a damaged or malfunctioning sign, which has not been ordered or authorized by SignOptix’s customer service department, is not covered under this warranty.

The original purchaser must notify SignOptix’s warranty department, in writing, of any claim asserted under this warranty within thirty (30) days from the point in time that the defect or problem is first discovered. Failure to notify SignOptix’s warranty department in writing within the thirty (30) day period may void the warranty.

Warranty shall be void if any alteration or service is performed without the manufacturer’s authorization; or if the equipment has been connected to incorrect power, is damaged by electrical fluctuations or is improperly grounded or improperly installed. Equipment that is subjected to accident, neglect, abuse, misuse, shipping damage, installation damage or other natural disasters, including but not limited to: fire, wind, lightning, flood is not covered by this warranty. SignOptix assumes no liability for damage caused by careless handling or poor installation except for work completed by employees or agents of SignOptix.

The manufacturer neither makes nor authorizes any agent or representative to make any other warranty of fitness, or of merchantability, guarantee, or representation, express or implied concerning its products. Critical and unforeseen factors, beyond the control of the manufacturer, prevent it from eliminating all risks in connection with the use of the products. Such risks occur even though the products are reasonably fit for their intended use. The buyer and user acknowledge and assume all risks and liability resulting from the handling, storage and use of these products, including all consequential damages resulting therefrom, except those expressly stated hereon.
